Details of the Collaboration
Initiated in June 2023, this collaboration has, over two years, successfully addressed various requirements, including information security, system reliability, localization efforts such as integrating domestic user identification systems, and tax system connectivity. As a result, end-users can now access services through the domain cloud.uztelecom.uz.​

Uzbekistan's cloud computing market is experiencing rapid growth, projected to reach $202 million by 2025. Between 2025 and 2029, the market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 28.43%, potentially reaching $550.10 million by 2029.​

Significance for Mongolia
This marks the second export initiative by Mongolians in the data center sector within Central Asia. Previously, Fibo Cloud successfully collaborated with Kazakhstan's prominent data center representative, Transtelecom, two years ago (cloud.ttc.kz).​

During discussions between representatives of the two companies, plans were made to expand Uztelecom's current two Tier-3 data centers to five in the coming years. Additionally, there are prospects for introducing a regional digital marketplace. This development offers Mongolian technology companies the advantage of delivering their products and services to Uzbekistani businesses in a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model, facilitating seamless transactions without the need to establish local entities.​

In a new era of artificial intelligence advancement, Fibo Cloud, in collaboration with the Silkroad Innovation Hub based in Palo Alto, USA, is launching a historic partnership to develop AI infrastructure across Central Asia.

This platform will provide the essential high-performance computing resources and technological infrastructure powered by NVIDIA to support AI development in nine Central Asian countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. This infrastructure will serve as a critical catalyst for universities, academic institutions, startups, and tech companies in the region, enabling them to create, develop, and conduct research on AI products.

Silkroad Innovation Hub, the key partner in this initiative, has played a pivotal role in securing over $40 million in investments for 17 companies registered in Silicon Valley. It has emerged as a major player in the Central Asian startup ecosystem within Silicon Valley.

Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with KPMG, organized a discussion event on the topic of “Kazakhstan’s use of cloud technologies (Cloud Policy)”

Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev, Vice Ministers, and Chairmen of the Information Security and Telecommunications Committees attended the event, as well as executives and representatives from leading global companies such as Google, Microsoft, EPAM, Freedom, and Yandex. Participants exchanged views on cloud technology regulations, strategies, benefits, and development trends.

The event featured key discussions, including:

• Ruslan Markevich, Senior Director at EPAM, on "Global Expertise in the Implementation of Cloud Innovation Strategies."
• Renate Strazdina, National Technical Director at Microsoft, on "Effect of Public Cloud for Kazakhstan / Building Blocks for a Successful AI Transformation Strategy."
• Marina Zhunich, Head of Cloud Government and Public Policy Relations at Google, on "Benefits of Cloud Technologies for the Public Sector and Economy of Kazakhstan."

It was emphasized that cloud technology is a driver for business development and a cornerstone of countries’ digital transformation, accelerating digitalization and bringing transformative change.

Representing Mongolia, Mr. P.Purevbazar, CEO of FIBO CLOUD, participated in the event by invitation and delivered a presentation on “The Benefits, Trends, and Experiences of State and Public Cloud Systems.” He provided a detailed overview of Mongolia’s progress in cloud technology and how the integration of state and private sector cloud systems has been successfully developed. His contribution highlighted the importance of this event in strengthening Central Asian cooperation.

On August 30, 2024, FIBO hosted its inaugural public SHARE TIME event, traditionally held internally for employees. The gathering brought together company staff, technology engineers, students pursuing business and project management, and recent graduates embarking on their professional journeys. The focus of the evening was on studying, working, and living in the U.S., with a particular emphasis on Silicon Valley.

The event's distinguished guest was D. Oyunbileg, a software engineer at Intuit, a leading financial technology company headquartered in Mountain View, California. Intuit is renowned for products such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, serving approximately 100 million customers worldwide. Oyunbileg, who resides and works in San Francisco, shared her personal experiences and insights about navigating life, education, and career opportunities in the U.S. She discussed her journey from selecting her profession and studying abroad to securing her role at Intuit.

After completing high school, Oyunbileg took a gap year to prepare for studying in the U.S. She enrolled at Minerva University in 2019, pursued a degree in Computational Sciences, and graduated in 2023. During her presentation, Oyunbileg offered valuable advice on academic pursuits, securing internships, and insights into corporate culture at Intuit and within the tech industry. In the interactive Q&A session, attendees posed questions about the U.S. application process and the essential skills needed to thrive in the competitive tech sector. Oyunbileg responded candidly, drawing from her own experiences.

This SHARE TIME event was a valuable source of guidance and inspiration for participants, especially those aiming to advance their careers in technology.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the second year of the "Fibo Cloud Student Scholarship Program." This year, the program received an overwhelming response, with over 150 students submitting their CVs in the first round. From these applicants, 40 students advanced to the second round, and ultimately, 16 students were invited for the final interviews.

After a rigorous selection process, we identified five students who best aligned with the goals of our scholarship program. Жилд нэг удаа болдог уг үйл ажиллагаа нь Төв Азид хамгийн сүүлд 12 жилийн өмнө буюу 2010 онд Казахстан улсын Астана хотод зохион байгуулагдаж байв.

Узбекууд олон зуун жилийн өмнөөс торгоны замын гол судлууд дээр оршин амьдарч, тус улсын эртний түүхтэй хотууд нь өрнө дорныг холбосон худалдаа, шинжлэх ухаан, соёлын төв байсаар иржээ.

Өдгөө 36 сая хүнтэй хүний амын тоо жилд 500 мянгаар нэмэгддэг, 20 сая ажиллах хүчтэй, дундаж нас 29.3 байх ба ердөө 7-хoн жилийн өмнө чөлөөт эдийн засгийн системд шилжсэн байна. Энгийн жишээгээр iphone утас барьдаг хүн 2 жилийн өмнө огт харагддаггүй байсан бол өдгөө маш олныг гудамжнаас харж болно. Манай улс ийм л хурдан өөрчлөгдөж байна хэмээн Ташкент хотын иргэд хэлэх нь олонтоо.

ДИЖИТАЛ УЛС

Узбекистан улсын дижитал хөгжлийн хэмждэг үзүүлэлтүүдээр хөрш Казахстан улсаас дутуу ч эрчимтэй хэрэгжиж буй улс төрийн чиглэсэн бодлого болон энэ улсын нөөц нь тус улсыг амжилттай цахимжиж чадна гэдгийг батлан харуулах мэт.

Урт хугацаанд чанга гараар удирдаж байсан өмнөх ерөнхийлөгчөөс хойш шинээр төр болон эдийн засгийн реформ хийгдэж, гадаадын олон хөрөнгө оруулагч нарын анхааралд Узбекистан улс орох болжээ. Энэ тухай хэд хэдэн жишээ дурдвал:

1. АНУ-н Plug and Play хөтөлбөр нь тус улсын IT park болон арилжааны банктай хамтарснаар татварын таатай орчинд, хөрөнгө оруулалтын нээлттэй боломжоор, туршлагатай гадаадын менторуудын зөвлөгөөгөөр гарааны компаниуд зөв замналаар хөгжих боломжтой болов.
2. Узбекистан улсын ерөнхийлөгчийн санаачилсан "1 сая IT инженер" хөтөлбөр амжилттай хэрэгжиж их сургуулиуд болон сургалтын төвүүд тодорхой дэмжлэгтэйгээр ажиллах болсон. Ингэснээр хүний нөөцийн тогтвортой урсгалын хангах бөгөөд жил бүр 24 мянган салбарын мэргэжилтнүүд төрөн гарч байна.
3. Дэлхийн хамгийн алдартай стартапын арга хэмжээ болох San Francisco, TechCrunch Disrupt 2023-д "The New Outsourcing Hub" гэсэн уриа дор Узбекийн стартапууд болон тус улсын IT park парк нэгдэж оролцов.

IT park-н тухайд гэвэл улс даяар 14 салбар оффистой. Уг кластерд одоогоор 1,500 гаруй компани, 22,000 мэргэжилтнүүд ажиллаж буй бөгөөд уг системд орсноор хоорондоо хамтын ажиллагааны холбоос үүсгэхээс гадна татварын хөнгөлөлттэй орчин бизнесээ эрхлэн явуулах боломжтой болох юм. Энэ хугацаанд хөтөлбөрийн шилдэг 3 стартапын нэгээр шалгарч Казахстан улсын ерөнхийлөгч Ж.К.Токаевт өөрсдийн төсөл болон компанийг танилцуулах завшаан тохиолдсон билээ.

Мөн энэ хугацаанд Казахстан улсын харилцаа холбоо, шилэн кабел, дэд бүтцийн салбарт дэд байранд бичигдэх Транстелеком компанид технологийн шийдэл нэвтрүүлэх гэрээг үзэглэж улмаар 2023 оны 7 сараас бидний бүтээгдэхүүн тус улсын зах зээлд амжилттай нээгдсэн.
