Fibo Global Represents Mongolia at Kazakhstan's Cloud Policy Event

Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with KPMG, organized a discussion event on the topic of “Kazakhstan’s use of cloud technologies (Cloud Policy)”

Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev, Vice Ministers, and Chairmen of the Information Security and Telecommunications Committees attended the event, as well as executives and representatives from leading global companies such as Google, Microsoft, EPAM, Freedom, and Yandex. Participants exchanged views on cloud technology regulations, strategies, benefits, and development trends.

The event featured key discussions, including:

  • Ruslan Markevich, Senior Director at EPAM, on "Global Expertise in the Implementation of Cloud Innovation Strategies."
  • Renate Strazdina, National Technical Director at Microsoft, on "Effect of Public Cloud for Kazakhstan / Building Blocks for a Successful AI Transformation Strategy."
  • Marina Zhunich, Head of Cloud Government and Public Policy Relations at Google, on "Benefits of Cloud Technologies for the Public Sector and Economy of Kazakhstan."

It was emphasized that cloud technology is a driver for business development and a cornerstone of countries’ digital transformation, accelerating digitalization and bringing transformative change.

Representing Mongolia, Mr. P.Purevbazar, CEO of FIBO CLOUD, participated in the event by invitation and delivered a presentation on “The Benefits, Trends, and Experiences of State and Public Cloud Systems.” He provided a detailed overview of Mongolia’s progress in cloud technology and how the integration of state and private sector cloud systems has been successfully developed. His contribution highlighted the importance of this event in strengthening Central Asian cooperation.
